Sign of the Times

For this project, our goal was to create a laser-etched sign to persuade, inform, or inspire. I utilized this project to create a sign to represent my mother's coffeeshop. For the sign we used Southern Yellow Pine boards for the frame, a cheap and versatile softwood. The backer board was a 10” x 15” cut of Luan plywood. This project involved the use of several different saws and emphasized production techniques.
