Walnut Wolf Box

For this project, our goal was to create a keepsake box to store small items and should be able to hold the small sheet metal tray. I modified this project by using cherry oak as my material instead of the walnut. It was a personal preference as there was more cherry to work with and I liked the color of it. Oak is known to be very versatile, strong, and easy to work with. It also can be finished to emphasize the natural color which was an option but, I didn’t do it. This project, similar to the sign of the times, involved standardization, as we were making single measurements to set our saws and then just cut all of our stock in succession.
